We collect the email address you use to sign in, your task data (titles, notes, dates, status, history), your chat messages with Effy, and AI usage metrics such as token counts. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

We use your information to provide the task tracking and AI coaching service, sync your data across devices, improve reliability, and calculate approximate AI usage costs.

3. Legal basis

Processing is necessary to perform our contract with you (providing Effy) and, where applicable, to comply with legal obligations. We rely on consent only where the law requires it.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can export or delete your data from the Privacy & Settings page when signed in.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we erase your task data, chat history, usage records, and account within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it by law.

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, row-level access controls, and authenticated access. No system is completely secure; please use a strong, unique password.

Effy uses only essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and sync your tasks. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
